Patterns offered by The Glass Creative are protected by copyright and are owned by The Glass Creative.
If a pattern has a clear option to purchase either a HOBBY LICENSE or a COMMERCIAL LICENSE, you must purchase the commercial license in order to sell works of art made with these patterns.
If you purchase a pattern or pattern pack that has no option to upgrade to a commercial license, this pattern comes with a commercial license. With a commercial license you may sell your works of art made with these patterns, but you may not share the pattern.
All free patterns and pattern packs come with a commercial license.
Digital files and all copies of our patterns cannot be shared, sold, swapped, traded, bartered, given away, or shared in any manner. If others admire your glass work, pass along a link to our site so they can enjoy our designs too.
You may resize the pattern to suit your needs, but you must not alter the original design.
Commercial License Policy
Commercial use licenses permit you to sell your finished glass projects made from our patterns.
One Commercial Use License is needed for every pattern.
This is for a small business license, permitting you to sell up to 100 completed glass pieces. Should you wish to sell more, another license purchase will be needed.
All Commercial Use License options include a personal use license and can be freely used for personal use as well.
You are NOT permitted to reproduce this design in any other format. This pattern must only be used to create stained glass, fused glass or mosaic projects. Should you require a license for another medium contact hello@theglasscreative.com with your details.
Feel free to resize the pattern to suit your needs; however, you must not alter the original design.
Patterns remain the property of The Glass Creative and as such, you may not share, gift, redistribute, post publicly or sell the pattern.
Photographs from The Glass Creative are not included in the license. Therefore, you may not use any of our photographs in the promotion of your wares.
***You must credit The Glass Creative whenever you show or sell your finished work.
FAQ
Are the patterns and photographs copyright protected?
Yes. All designs and photographs/images are copyright of The Glass Creative even after you purchase a pattern. Copyright protects these designs from being copied, making derivative works from them or claiming them as your own. Recreating or tracing any patterns designed by The Glass Creative is not permitted through copyright law.
Can I sell items made from the patterns?
If a pattern has a clear option to purchase either a HOBBY LICENSE or a COMMERCIAL LICENSE, you must purchase the commercial license in order to sell works of art made with these patterns.
If the pattern or pattern pack has no option to purchase a commercial license, these patterns come with a commercial license.
Free patterns and pattern packs also come with a commercial license.
When completed works are shared anywhere online, a link to or mention of The Glass Creative (or #TGCDesigns) is required.
What can I do with the pattern?
- Digital files or printed copies of the pattern may not be shared, redistributed, posted publicly or sold. The file is meant for use only by the purchaser.
- You may resize the pattern to suit your needs, but it may not be modified or altered.
