The Auryn symbol is from the 80’s movie, The Neverending Story. One of my top 5 favorite childhood movies. This is the symbol found on the front of the book and the pendant worn by Atreyu. In the movie, the Auryn is a powerful medallion belonging to the childlike Empress, which protects its wearer from all harm.
