That way people have multiple ways to get the info. & Actually I’ve since started using Liva Finishing Polish and I find that is 1. just all around easier to work with & 2. doesn’t take off as much of the black patina! I’m going to be updated this article soon and the video on YouTube.

In the YouTube comments for this video you say you’re going to skip the clarity polish to see if it makes it darker. Did it? Is this still a step in your process or have you removed it now?

Hi Madelyn! Sorry my reply is so tardy. I’ve done a terrible at keeping up with this blog last year, but will be coming back in full force this year!

As for your questions, you apply the came first. Think of the came just as you do your solder. ,it’s all the metal elements of your piece. Once all of your center solder is complete, you add your came – and then you can proceed with the rest of the steps to finishing your piece. Hope this helps (and wasn’t too late)
